ALE Property pub tenants generate solid rent reviews

The country's biggest pub landlord, ALE Property, is benefiting from the expansion and redevelopment projects of its major tenant, Woolworths' ALH business, including the major upgrade of the Young & Jackson in the Melbourne CBD.

ALE owns 86 properties, which are leased to ALH, and revenue grew 1.5 per cent on the previous corresponding period to $57 million. The overall profit for the year was $130 million, which includes increments to investment property and derivative values. Excluding the adjustments, it was $29.1 million.
