Promenade Parramatta on track for completion with purchasers being attracted by the affordability and premium quality finishes

Starryland Australia’s successful $550M masterplanned residential development Promenade in Parramatta is on track with Stage 2 due for completion this December and Stage 3 following shortly after in March 2018. Located on the Parramatta riverfront at 2 Morton Street, the 773-apartment project has been phenomenally successful and highly sought after with just 38 apartments remaining.

Promenade has consistently remained on track during each stage of the development, successfully meeting construction and completion targets, ensuring buyers’ confidence in both the project and Starryland as a developer.

“The development’s progress is a result of Starryland working closely with Probuild who are a Tier 1 builder and a dedicated team of quality consultants to ensure the timely completion of Promenade. Construction of Promenade is advancing well towards completion with the external scaffolding starting to be removed, revealing the stunning external façade of the buildings. The internal apartments fit-out works are well progressed with kitchen installation and bathroom tilling underway,” said James Swete, Sales and Marketing Director for Starryland Australia.

“With the completion of construction fast approaching of this landmark development, we can now envisage the significant impact Promenade will have in creating a vibrant new five-hectare riverside precinct for Parramatta. The impending completion of one of the largest residential development projects in Western Sydney represents a significant vote of confidence by Starryland in both Parramatta and Western Sydney,” said Mr Swete.

Stage 1 of Promenade is already complete and the majority of residing occupants have been owner-occupiers from within a 5km radius. “These buyers have recognised the value of the development, providing a quality product close to Parramatta’s growing CBD, at an affordable price. The premium finishes and striking design of Promenade have set a benchmark for Parramatta which has attracted buyers,” added Mr. Swete.

Natasha Breen, a first homebuyer from Stage 2 of Promenade said she purchased a 2 bedroom + study apartment due the appealing affordability of the project, which offered her the opportunity to get a foothold within the competitive Sydney market.

“We purchased in Promenade primarily due to the fact Parramatta is fast-becoming the new CBD and has a lot more to offer for locals and the wider region. Not only is it in close proximity to key amenities such as popular

cafes and Westfield shopping centre, the development also has a man-made beach and features high quality interior finishes with an impressive appliance offering. All of this at a very affordable price for a first homebuyer,” said Ms Breen.

Starryland is now offering first homebuyers the opportunity to purchase in the development with a 5% deposit on exchange in an initiative to assist purchasers establish themselves in the market and secure their own property.

Designed by Award-winning Architects Turner, Promenade will house an expansive 1.2 hectares of landscaped parklands, private residents’ podium garden and a lively retail plaza including premium cafes and shops.

“The resort-style living at Promenade will offer an active outdoors lifestyle in a picturesque riverbank location that is well connected to transport links and near quality schools, the University of Western Sydney and Westfield Parramatta.” said Mr Swete.

Connectivity at Promenade is key, with the development being a short 5-minute walk to the new light rail station and only 350 metres from the main UWS campus. Strategically at Sydney’s geographical heart, Parramatta’s integrated rail, road, bus and ferry network offers fast and frequent links to local business, leisure and university precincts as well as Sydney’s CBD, airport and the greater Sydney area. The rollout of a new multi-billion dollar transport network will greatly strengthen connectivity between Parramatta, Western Sydney and the region.

There are still a good selection of apartments remaining and now is final chance for buyers to secure their new home in Promenade prior to the display suite closing at the end of 2017.
